What’s going on?
Help us waste less water
Save Our Streams is the UK’s largest ever water saving campaign, and we want you to be a part of it.
Water saving starts at home
The best way to get involved is to answer a few quick questions and order your free water saving gadgets to use at home. It only takes three minutes, so you could do it while you’re waiting for the kettle to boil. Once you’ve ordered your free gadgets, you can sit back and enjoy that cup of tea knowing you’re doing your part to help the local environment.
Protecting the River Chess
In 2020, we met our objective to stop taking water from the River Chess – a chalk stream – in the Chilterns Valley, helping protect this area of outstanding natural beauty.
We’ve also been working hard to reduce our water leakage. We’ve beaten the industry’s target, and while we’re proud of having met these objectives we’re not stopping there.
There’s a lot going on under the surface to help protect our local chalk streams.
All of these little drops add up to a big splash.

What did some of our customers think of the comedy event?
Mr Wynne, Borehamwood
“We had a great day at the Rickmansworth Festival with the comedy show being brilliant! All the comedians excelled, with superb compèring by Zoe Lyons . I thought Matt Richardson taking the final slot was hilarious, whilst picking up some more water saving tips to boot! Well done to Affinity Water!”
Mr Jarvis, Watford
“Really enjoyed the comedy show and Felicity Ward teaching the joys of chicken karaoke. I am now helping to save water by using collected rainwater in the garden as opposed to a hosepipe.”
We’re delighted our lucky winners enjoyed the comedy event and that they’re putting in to practice new water saving tips.
