What’s going on?
Help us waste less water
Save Our Streams is the UK’s largest ever water saving campaign, and we want you to be a part of it.
Water saving starts at home
The best way to get involved is to answer a few quick questions and order your free water saving gadgets to use at home. It only takes three minutes, so you could do it while you’re waiting for the kettle to boil. Once you’ve ordered your free gadgets, you can sit back and enjoy that cup of tea knowing you’re doing your part to help the local environment.
Protecting the River Chess
In 2020, we met our objective to stop taking water from the River Chess – a chalk stream – in the Chilterns Valley, helping protect this area of outstanding natural beauty.
We’ve also been working hard to reduce our water leakage. We’ve beaten the industry’s target, and while we’re proud of having met these objectives we’re not stopping there.
There’s a lot going on under the surface to help protect our local chalk streams.
All of these little drops add up to a big splash.

Some big names in comedy have jumped right in to support the Save Our Streams campaign, with Former ‘Bake Off’ frontwoman and QI host Sandi Toksvig, comedians Mark Watson, Eshaan Akbar and Helen Arney all donning their waders for a stand-up event in the River Chess.
So what are you waiting for?
It’s super easy to help your local environment and Save Our Streams – it’ll only take you three minutes.
And if helping the environment wasn’t enough, you’ll also save money too.
