What is the Water Saving Service?

Our Water Saving Service helps you reduce the amount of water you’re wasting, which can save you money and help the environment. And best of all, it won’t cost you a penny.

When you arrange a check, our qualified technicians will come round to your house to identify and repair small leaks (where possible), offer to fit free water saving devices, and give you some advice about easy changes you could make to reduce your water bills.

(Because technical people like acronyms, our team sometimes refer to visits from our Water Saving Service as “Home Water Efficiency Checks”, or “HWECs”. Please don’t be confused, they’re exactly the same thing.)

Will the Water Saving Service
really save me money?

Absolutely. No one likes to waste money, but a lot of people don’t realise their homes might have leaky pipes and inefficient fittings. That means their hard-earned cash is being flushed down the drain.

Our Water Saving Service is a quick, free and painless way of saving you money. A home visit should only take around 40 minutes, and our expert technicians are trained to uphold the highest standards of COVID-19 safety. They’re also very polite.

How will it help the environment?

Not many people realise that the water you use at home comes from your local environment. Unfortunately, too much water is being wasted, which means our local rivers and streams are in danger of drying up. Booking a visit from our Water Saving Service means you can enjoy the warm and fuzzy glow of helping save our local waterways for future generations (of people and wildlife).

What’s the catch?

There is none. We’ll cover 100% of the cost of your visit from the Water Saving Service (normally worth £80), and there are no hidden charges. Like all the best things in life, it’s absolutely free.

How do I sign up for the Water Saving Service?

You can sign up today by emailing homecheck@affinitywater.co.uk, or you can speak directly to one of our team on 0345 357 2403 (select option 3).

Is there anything else I can do to
